Practice never affects your official record

Forecast a completed day you have not seen, commit it, and the observations and your score appear immediately. Attempts are stored separately and never enter leaderboards, ratings, verified forecast counts, XP or achievements.

Tornateo does not archive the model guidance that was available at the historical issue time, so practice is a deliberately blind drill: you get the place and the date, nothing else. Scoring uses the same engine, error scales and units as the official Forecast Challenge.
